Wellness Coach Shahana Mia

I am a registered Social Worker, Life Coach through The Academy of Life Coaching, Aafiyah Energy & Emotional Healer, a Trauma Release Exercise Provider and Access Consciousness BARS practitioner. 

My specialization is in Wellness Healing through various holistic modalities integrated  with Counselling or Coaching.

I have been operating a private practice in the Cape Town area for about 4 years in addition to contracting at a few organisations : viz. The Parent Centre, Chrysalis Academy, Zahraa Institute. 

My varied professional and life experience had afforded me the opportunity to help individuals to stand tall when life hits a curveball. Healing not just the mind, but balancing the body, mind and soul. This emphasis then shapes the coaching platform for the client as a holistic avenue to transformation and growth.

My passion to help others through this journey bore from my challenges navigating life as a single mum after an 18 year marriage. Guiding and supporting 3 children through this time and striving to enable them to step into life's arena as whole individuals. 

This has opened many platforms on radio, television and webinars, which I embrace comfortably and competently.

I am confident that once a client's soul resonates with mine, the professional engaging and working relationship towards their growth is more likely to be beneficial and long term.

I have a passion for experiencing and appreciating life.. I love the outdoors and nature and utilize these avenues in supporting clients in their individual journeys.

I have a good spiritual foundation that guides my intuition coupled with the professional background and experience to provide a holistic approach to my life and thus my clients.

My temperament is often described as a soft spoken, gentle, caring ,compassionate person, who loves adventure and is enthusiastic about life.
